Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead. Now, upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw's latest grizzly remains and piecing together the puzzle. Pjūklas ir Amanda nebegyvi, tačiau jie paliko nemažą šūsnį neišpainiotų mįslių. Išgirdę žinią apie detektyvės Keri mirtį, du agentai Stramas ir Peres apsilanko visų užmirštoje nuovadoje. Čia palikta visa medžiaga susijusi su Pjūklo byla.
Specialiosios paskirties būrio kapitonas Rigsas netikėtai patenka į žiaurius pomirtinius Pjūklo spąstus. Prasideda dar vienas kankinantis bepročio žaidimas su nieko nenutuokiančiomis aukomis. Pareigūnas turi tik 90 minučių, kad įveiktų Pjūklo paliktus spąstus... Tačiau tai dar ne viskas - jis kaunasi ne tik už savo gyvybę, į šlykščius Pjūklo spąstus pateko ir jo senas draugas. Be Rigso pagalbos jis neišsikapstys...
